Our Services

We are committed to providing comprehensive care for all women.

An annual well-woman exam is the best way to stay proactive about your gynecological health. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends these annual exams begin between the ages of 13 and 15. During your annual appointment, you and your doctor will discuss a range of topics, including menstrual cycle concerns, vaccinations, and sexually transmitted diseases. Depending on your age, your doctor may also conduct a Pap smear, reproductive health screening, or cancer screening.

From the moment you discover you're pregnant to after delivery, our team is here to ensure that you and your child receive the best care possible.

As a general rule, you should avoid medication during the first trimester of pregnancy. Otherwise, certain medications are considered safe. View a list of approved medications here.

Infertility

If you have concerns about your fertility, you are not alone. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 6.1 million women in the United States ages 15 to 44 have difficulty becoming pregnant or staying pregnant. While referral to an infertility specialist may ultimately be necessary, our team can begin much of the evaluation and management.

Digital Mammography

A digital mammogram is an X-ray of your breast taken to screen for breast cancer and to investigate lumps that can be felt during a breast exam. We recommend routine digital mammograms and cancer screenings for all women over the age of 40.

Menopause Care

Menopause can mean a lot of changes in your body and your health. Our team provides excellent care for women in this stage of life. We specialize in perimenopause or menopause counseling, hormone replacement therapy, bone density testing, and evaluating abnormal postmenopausal symptoms.

General Gynecology

From the routine to the complex, our team is here to provide general gynecological services for women of all ages and stages of life. We offer services for a wide range of gynecological needs and conditions, including abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, hormone treatments, pelvic pain, vaginal infections, and contraceptive education and counseling. We also specialize in MonaLisa Touch treatments.

Urodynamics

According to the U.S. Office of Women’s Health, incontinence affects twice as many women as men. At Oxford Clinic for Women, our team offers innovative urodynamic testing that will help diagnose what is causing this struggle. Our process includes examining the function of the lower urinary tract, specifically evaluating how well the bladder is storing and releasing urine. From there, we will create a custom treatment plan and help ease the symptoms that are affecting your day-to-day life.

Ultrasounds

At Oxford Clinic for Women, we are pleased to offer our patients access to the latest ultrasound technology, as well as a full-time ultrasound technician. Our services include:

  • Pregnancy ultrasounds that help us assess the well-being of your pregnancy, establish an accurate due date, measure growth, and identify the sex of your baby.

  • Pelvic ultrasounds to diagnose any gynecological issues you may be experiencing.

  • 3D and 4D pregnancy ultrasounds that can be done during your 28th through 32nd weeks of pregnancy. These images are not covered by insurance; however, we accept a variety of payments.

Vaccinations

We offer our patients access to several vaccinations, including the flu shot; Gardasil, which is used to help prevent certain strains of human papillomavirus; and Tdap, a combination vaccine that protects against three potentially life-threatening bacterial diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (commonly known as whooping cough).
